Norden has scooped a contract of affreightment (COA) double of up to 15 years for its smaller bulkers but is remaining mum on the contract values.



The Dane is also unwilling to disclose the charterer behind the massive handysize contract although a Filipino outfit has been revealed as the long-term charterer of handymax tonnage.

In what Norden termed “the longest and largest COA” for its handysize pool to date, a mystery company has signed up to a 15-year contract to transport up to 12 million tons of cargo in the Atlantic.
