Japan’s K Line has ordered a 206,000-dwt capesize newbuilding at Imabari Shipbuilidng under a long term contract with JFE Steel and won long term freight deals for two more of its newbuildings.
The Imabari newbuilding will be delivered in 2014 and sail into a 15 year time charter with JFE, Japan’s biggest steel maker. No price has been given for the contract.
