Hyundai Merchant Marine is open to bidding for Hanjin Shipping assets on the Asia-to-US route, Reuters reports.
HMM has not qualified how seriously it will chase the business with market sources telling the newswire they were not anticipating a rush of buyers.
According to an HMM spokesman the company is mulling a move but has not made a final decision on whether to submit an offer.
