Korea's STX Offshore & Shipbuilding has secured a refund guarantee (RG) for its first order in 17 months.
The yard said Korea Development Bank (KDB) will back its deal for three 11,200-dwt tankers contracted by domestic owners Woolim Shipping and Sambong Corp, according to the Asiasis website.
Brokers said in April that Sambong is taking delivery of one ship in November 2018, while Woolim will add two others in January and March 2019.
