Tor Olav Troim’s 2020 Bulkers has enjoyed its start to life as a public company after more than doubling in value since listing on Oslo’s over-the-counter market on 4 December.

The company started trading at NOK 16.30 (about $2) and the shares last changed hands yesterday at NOK 36 each, valuing the company at NOK 180m.

2020 Bulkers’ initial fleet consists of two newcastlemaxes on order at China’ New Times Shipbuilding with an option for six more units.
