CIT Maritime Finance of the US provided a $93.7m loan to Tankers Solutions to refinance debt on 12 product tankers.
CIT acted as the sole lead arranger for the senior secured credit facility for the Prime Marine-managed owner and a US private equity investor.
“We counted on CIT to use its knowledge of the maritime industry and its financing expertise to create the right credit facility to meet our needs and they delivered,” said Prime Marine co-chief executive Michael Chalkias.
