Kuala Lumpur-listed Maybulk delivered net profit of MYR 22.1m($6.7m) in the six months to 30 June, down 31% from MYR 31.8m in the same period lastyear.
Dry cargo, by far its largest segment, slumped to a firsthalf loss of MYR 15.1m against a profit of MYR 15m in the corresponding periodof 2012 on lower charter rates.
Its tanker business on the other hand saw a reversal infortune, booking a MYR 2.5m
