Mega International Commercial Bank, Cathay United Bank, Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank and First Commercial Bank want a US District Court to review the order allowing 21 of 23 TMT affiliates to continue their Houston bankruptcy cases.
A recent legal filing by the banks says that among questions they will ask in the appeal is whether the US Bankruptcy Court in the Texas city has jurisdiction in the case or is the proper venue, and whether Judge Marvin Isgur erroneously ruled that Nobu Su-led TMT filed the case in good faith.
