It will take the DP2-rated Lewek Champion (built 2007) back on a ten-year time charter with options to re-purchase from the end of the fifth charter year.
The deal, which is due to be completed within the first quarter of 2014, was arranged by Landmark Capital Ltd and Singapore-based North Cape.
Built at Labroy Shipbuilding and Engineering in Indonesia, the pipelayer is flagged in Singapore, where it will remain following the transaction.
