The Danish owner booked its first newbuilding order in four years in January with a quartet of supramaxes split between Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering (DACKS) and Imabari Shipbuilding.
Chief executive Jan Kastrup-Nielsen tells TradeWinds that total has since been expanded with the addition of four handysize newbuildings to the owner’s own account and two more via a joint venture with Sincere Industrial Corporation.
