The shipowner said its deficit was JPY 653m ($6.42m) to 30 June, from JPY 639m in the same six months of 2013.
Revenue was up at JPY 5.24bn, however, from JPY 5.09bn, and operating losses decreased to JPY 595m, against JPY 617m.
And for the full year to 31 December it is predicting a profit of JPY 215m, compared to JPY 23m in the previous 12 months.
