The 52,400-dwt Ince Inebolu (2003) has safely reached port on the island of Astypalaia and dropped anchor there, according to a statement.
Piraeus-based Tsavliris Salvage had been hired to conduct the operation. Greek coastguard investigators are looking into the causes of the accident, which did not result in any damage to the environment.
The Ince Denizcilik-owned ship was carrying 1,388 tons of fuel oil and 70 tons of diesel oil when it struck rocks at Astypalaia on Sept.
