The company was boosted by state subsidies for ship scrapping, it said.
The net profit figure was CNY 193m ($31.1m).
It received CNY 182.9m of demolition subsidies, while revenue rose 2.97% to CNY 7.66bn.
The company has this month sold $402m of shares to finance newbuildings and pay off debt
