The New York-listed containership owner would like to increase the dividend by “north of $0.01” per quarter, if market conditions allow, said chief financial officer Gregory Zikos after the company posted better-than-expected fourth-quarter profit and announced the first dividend increase in a year.
But he said Costamare’s return of capital to shareholders does not impact its ability to grow its fleet.
