The South African shipowner booked operating profit of ZAR 825m ($72.14m) for the year, a 4% climb aided by a small up tick in revenue.
“Shipping rates in the dry bulk sector remain well below profitable levels and the rates in the tanker sector were at unprofitable levels for the majority of the year returning to profitable levels in the last quarter,” its report said.
