The small adjustment is being done for “capital management purposes,” it said.

Glovis has a market capitalisation of around $8bn, so the 0.5% sale will bring in $40m for WW.

The company added: “The relationship with the Hyundai Group is strong and the shareholding in Hyundai Glovis continues to be long-term and strategic for Wilh Wilhelmsen.”

In its annual result for 2014, WW said earnings from its investment in Glovis had been lower than in the previous year.
