Investment firm Strategic Value Partners (SVP) has added to its significant minority stake in Genco Shipping & Trading.
Connecticut-based SVP now controls a 17.3% stake in the New York-listed bulker owner, which is led by chairman Peter Georgiopoulos.
The investment firm, which is controlled by Victor Khosla, told the US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) that it holds 12.6 million in Genco.
