Korea's Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction has posted a smaller loss for 2015 as revenue rose.

The company said the deficit dropped 24% to KRW 228bn ($189.6m), while the operating figure was reduced 49% to KRW 79.3bn, according to the Asiasis website.

Revenue jumped 23% to KRW 3.11 trillion.

It blamed provisions from a cancelled contract for the loss.

Last month, creditors of the yard group agreed to provide KRW 130bn of emergency financial aid, as well as halting debt repayments.
