Shipmanagement giant V.Group has snapped up Bibby Ship Management of the UK.
The Bibby deal extends the V.Group’s market leading position in the offshore sector and gives it an increased customer base across all core markets, a statement explains.
It believes the purchase comes at “a crucial time when shipowners and operators are facing unprecedented challenges and are exploring strategic options for the management of their fleets”.
