Qatar Gas Transport Co (QGTC), shipper for the world’s largest producer of liquefied natural gas, said 2009 profits rose more than fourfold.
The Doha-based company said net income was QAR588.4m ($162m) up from QAR129m in 2008, in a statement to the Qatar Exchange.
The owner, which also goes by the name Nakilat meaning “carrier” in Arabic, did not reveal its annual revenue figure however.
