Japan’s Meiji Shipping is more optimistic of a better profit in the year ended 31 March.
The tanker and bulker owner said it expected to log net earnings of JPY 506m ($6.33m), up from its previous prediction of JPY 250m.
This would turn around a loss of JPY 403m in the preceding 12 months.
Revenue will be a little lower year-on-year at JPY 21.04bn.
