Lloyd Fonds has hired former Commerzbank executive Klaus Pinter to head its shipping activities.
Pinter, who left Commerzbank last year, will work alongside chief executive Dr Torsten Teichert, while Holger Schmitz will assume responsibility for real estate.
Teichert said in a statement: "We are convinced that listed companies will provide a sustainable structure for investments in alternative real assets by institutional and retail investors.
