Herbjorn Hansson has disclosed two separate additions to his stake in Nordic American tankers after hitting out at criticism of the company.

Hansson and his son Alexander today bought 60,000 NAT shares worth $638,400, a statement said.

It followed a $550,000 addition late last week and a third transaction, worth $1.1m, disclosed last Wednesday.

The purchase last midweek followed criticism on a Seeking Alpha investor blog in June of Hansson revealing purchases of NAT shares while not issuing statements when stock was sold.
