Robert Maersk Uggla-led AP Moller Holding has teamed up with three Danish pension funds to launch a $550m African infrastructure fund.

AP Moller Capital, PKA, Laegernes Pension and PensionDenmark have provided the initial capital with the venture targeting between 10 and 15 investors in total.

Uggla - who was influential in the reshaping of Copenhagen-listed AP Moller last year – said AP Moller Holding was established to build value creating businesses that have a positive impact on society.
