Knot Offshore Partners (KNOP) does not expect to buy more used vessels from Knutsen NYK but certainly sees room for newbuild offshore shuttle tankers.
The John Costain-led shuttle tanker owner in March acquired 152,000-dwt suezmax Anna Knudsen (2017) for $120m from Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers.
"There can be no assurance that the partnership will acquire any additional vessels from Knutsen NYK," the company said Tuesday in its second-quarter earnings release.
