Hamburg shipping asset manager Lloyd Fonds is shifting its focus with the formation of a new capital management company.
As part of its continued reorientation, management plans to position the company as a "bank-independent listed asset manager with a focus on actively managed, liquid retail investment funds," it said.
Growth will be driven both organically and non-organically through the acquisition of external investment assets, it added.
