Germany's embattled Rickmers Holding is trying to strike a new restructuring deal after filing for insolvency last week.
The company said its executive board remains in charge and will manage the containership owner under self-administration through the Hamburg district court.
"The aim of the executive board is to work out a new restructuring solution together with the creditors and making use of the tools of insolvency law," it said.
