Inchcape announced that Simon Morse has stepped down as chief executive officer, just two weeks after the ship agency agreed to pay a $20m fine in a fraud case brought against the company for overbilling the US Navy.
His departure is effective 7 June. The company released a statement that it "thank(s) Simon for his contribution to the company."
Morse had been CEO since February 2017.
