Svitzer has bolstered its presence in China in an agreement to team up with Guangzhou Port Group.
The two parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that will see the formation of a new joint venture providing towage and other marine services at the port of Guangzhou.
Three tugs of 5,200 bhp to 6,800 bhp will be deployed if the joint venture is finalised.
