Japan's Toei Reefer Line has reduced its loss in the first quarter despite falling revenue.

The reefer owner said the net deficit was JPY 8m ($73,000) to 30 June, down from JPY 41m a year ago.

Revenue dipped to JPY 1.68bn against JPY 1.71bn over the same period.

The full-year profit forecast is for a profit of JPY 400m.

This compares to an actual result of JPY 454m in the previous 12 months.
