Grimaldi-controlled owner Finnlines is continuing to expand its fleet with a new order for ro-ro vessels.
The Baltic Sea company said it had signed a letter of intent for the 7,300-lane-metre ships "in response to growing volumes and market demand."
Finnlines did not reveal a yard or delivery date. It has been contacted for further information.
It pledged to carry on investing heavily in its fleet as net profit in the fourth quarter rose to EUR 14.85m
