A court in South Korea has ordered Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) to pay $51m to settle the balance on an LNG carrier that could not be transferred to a new investor due to ownership constraints.
HMM has been given until the end of this month to make the payment relating to the 149,700-cbm Hyundai Ecopia (built 2008) that lifts cargoes from Russia to South Korea.
