Shipowners begin talks with Total on LNG carrier offers

At least four LNG shipowners have been called in by energy major Total for early talks over term charters on a series of up to four LNG carriers.

Clarification meetings have been taking place in London over the past 10 days following the launch of Total’s tender for two firm vessels of between 170,000 cbm and 180,000 cbm with options on an additional pair.
