Braemar ACM sees 'bumpy' 2018 for LNG carriers

Shipbroker Braemar ACM sees the LNG carrier market rebalancing but possibly not until later in 2019.

Speaking at a briefing entitled “The LNG Deal” as part of London International Shipping Week, LNG department head Andrew Selby-Bennett said the shop is already seeing charterers fixing forward for January 2018 and beyond at rates that are unchanged from current levels.

He told TradeWinds that next year could be a little “bumpy” for LNG owners.
