Samsung Heavy Industries has developed its own regasification systems for FSRUs.
It presented S-Regas(GI) to 40 representatives from 19 shipping companies on Thursday, it said.
This included executives from Golar LNG, Hoegh LNG and GasLog.
The kit uses glycol to regasify LNG into gas, the yard said.
It reduces the chance of corrosion from traditional methods like the heating of LNG directly with seawater, it added.
