Sovcomflot (SCF Group)’s 172,600-cbm Arc7 LNG carrier newbuilding Christophe de Margerie is due to arrive back at its Arctic home port of Sabetta in the next week as the project limbers up to export a historic first cargo.
The ice-breaking LNG carrier, which is on passage from Dalian in China via the Northern Sea Route, is set to be on location at the entrance to the specially dredged channel to Sabetta on 12 October.
