The global floating storage and regasification unit fleet has grown to 38 vessels in the 15 years since the first one was delivered.
The fleet comprises 29 existing FSRUs, including three converted from LNG carriers, and nine newbuildings.
Of those units on order, brokers record that six appear to be without firm employment and are being offered in to a range of tenders.
