The European Commission is investigation as to whether supply agreements between Qatar Petroleum and European importers breach EU antitrust rules by inhibiting the development of a single gas market.
“Energy should flow freely within Europe, regardless of where it comes from,” said Margrethe Vestager, the commissioner in charge of competition policy.
