The Oslo-listed LNG shipowner has signed a joint development agreement (JDA) with Delfin LNG, the latter said in a statement.
Hoegh LNG chief executive Sveinung Stohle said the project satisfies “all the necessary criteria” in the company’s FLNG strategy.
These include a credit worthy counterparty, pipeline specification gas from the US market and a regulatory scheme which the company is very familiar with.
