It posted net earnings of NOK 729m ($93.64m) to 31 March, down from NOK 1.77bn in 2014.
Revenue grew to NOK 27.67bn from NOK 21.7bn, but it was negatively affected by a NOK 1.83bn foreign exchange loss and a NOK 929m write-down of its Lifeco export terminal venture in Libya.
Yara operates three LPG carriers and a multipurpose vessel, with five more gas carriers on order.
