India’s Ministry of Road Transport and Highways announced this week that it has inaugurated a second tanker berth at the Port of Mumbai, allowing the port to handle more LPG import cargoes.
The Ministry said the INR 1.3bn ($19.2m) berth will have separate loading arms for LPG and chemicals, with discharge rates of 1,000 tonnes per hour, and be able to handle ships up to the VLGC size.
