Epic Gas has been able to trim its losses in the second quarter, but was still unable to post a positive result at the halfway stage of the year.
The Charles Maltby-led shipowner lost $900,000 for the three months ended 30 June 2016 versus a loss of $2m a year ago.
Revenue for the quarter was largely unchanged at $32.6m despite an increase in the size of the fleet from 37 to 38 vessels.
