Yet another regasification unit has completed its relocation to northern Europe amid a craze for such facilities after the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war.
Excelerate Energy said on social media that its 150,900-cbm vessel Exemplar (built 2010) arrived at the Finnish port of Inkoo, where it is to become the Scandinavian country’s first floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU).
“The Exemplar is chartered to Gasgrid Finland Oy for a period of ten years,” US-listed Excelerate said in a post on LinkedIn.
