Norway's Knutsen OAS Shipping is poised to confirm an option for an LNG carrier berth in South Korea against a charter with Spanish energy company Endesa.
Sources said Knutsen had secured a second period deal with Endesa for a 180,000-cbm newbuilding that will be ordered at Hyundai Heavy Industries.
The charter-hire length is unclear at the moment but it is expected to be for a firm period of at least five years with options.
