Russian energy company Rosneft is considering building an LNG bunker vessel (LNGBV) as it expands its gas business.
Giving the company’s first presentation on gas at London’s IP Week, Rosneft commerce and logistics vice president Otabek Karimov flashed a slide showing a 6,500-cbm ship.
The specifications listed showed the vessel would be capable of handling around 4,500 cbm of LNG, with the balance for marine gasoil, and detailed that the ship’s cargo tanks would be “built into the hull”.
