Andreas Sohmen-Pao’s BW Group and public company BW Offshore have closed an investment in a Gabon oil field.
Oslo-listed BW Offshore says the purchase of Harvest Dussafu by special purpose company BW Energy Gabon has been completed.
BW has a 66% stake in the project, with Panoro Energy controlling the balance.
The move first came to light in December last year and will allow BW Offshore to deploy one of its idle units.
