The second mate on the bridge of a Japanese containership which collided with the US navy ship USS Fitzgerald last month claiming seven lives has not been charged.
Daiichi-Invest Corporation, owner of the 2,800-teu ACX Crystal (built 2008), say the second mate has now been allowed to go home.
