P&O Ferries CEO Helen Deeble’s champagne would have tasted extra sweet this time around after being awarded a CBE by the Queen.
Deeble, of Canterbury, UK, receives the gong for services to the shipping industry.
Chris Bourne, now chairman of General Lighthouse Authorities, has been honoured with an MBE.
Bourne’s date at the palace will come due to his services to the maritime industry.
