A ruling over the wreck of the 33,000-dwt Server (built 1985) has already been given in Norway’s Supreme Court but key issues remain unresolved, with the case remitted to the appeal court.
The Server was one of the notable casualties of 2007, grounding in what the vessel’s master said was the worst weather he had ever encountered.
