US authorities have raided a Turkish boxship in a people-trafficking investigation.
First officer Ozcan Kose, 36, and his brother, chief engineer Oguz Kose, 35, were held on the 1,878-teu NileDutch Osprey (built 2008) in New Jersey last week.
The Hurriyet daily said the pair face an initial court hearing in Pennsylvania on 6 February after having been accused of taking $25,000 dollars each to bring people into the US.
